  1. All quiet. Nothing needs you right now.
See everything it watches

Opening hours here are 7:00 to 22:00. After closing, FloorPi watches for anyone on camera.

Set up in an afternoon

  1. About an hour

First, the FloorPi box joins your network and finds your cameras.

  2. About an hour

Then you trace tables, the line and the register on each camera's picture.

  3. Ten minutes

Next, pick the alerts you want and who receives them.

  4. Every shift after that

From then on it watches, and your phone shows how each day went.

Nothing leaves without you

The FloorPi box records and analyses on site. The portal only signs you in and passes on what you ask to see. It keeps no copies, and it can't pull video out of a store whose owner has switched remote viewing off.

Faces: your staff, with consent

Customers' faces are never recognised or stored. Employees are enrolled only if they agree, and only in staff areas. You can mark parts of the picture where nobody is analysed at all.

Every box has its own key

Each FloorPi box connects out over an encrypted link with its own certificate. No ports open on your router, every remote view is logged, and a lost box can be cut off at once.

Who it's for

Fair questions

Do I need new cameras?

Usually not. FloorPi works with IP cameras that offer a standard video stream (RTSP), which most business cameras do. Wired cameras on a PoE switch are the most reliable; Wi-Fi cameras can drop out.

Where is my video kept?

On the FloorPi box in your store. Recordings and the numbers stay there. The portal signs you in and relays what you ask to see, when you ask, and keeps no copies.

Does it recognise customers?

No. Customers' faces are never recognised or stored. Face recognition is only for employees who agreed to it, and only in staff areas. The customer mix (a coarse age group and gender) comes from overall appearance, is counted in totals only, and can be switched off.

What if the internet drops?

The box keeps watching, recording and raising alerts in the store. Remote viewing and phone notifications catch up when the connection returns.

How many cameras per box?

It depends on the cameras and how much you ask of each one. A typical café or bar is two to four cameras on one box; we size it with you before installing.

What does setup involve?

About an afternoon: the box joins your network and finds your cameras, then you trace the tables, line and stations on each camera's picture and choose your alerts. We do it with you.
